Res

Res is short for Resolved Issue, he came to us from a home that could no longer care for him because of his special needs. Res is a 17 yr old Thoroughbred. We received Res in September of 2024, all we had was his abbreviated name. Through research, we have learned his age and foal date and he is an off-the-track racehorse who also had a win in 2010. This made us so excited and proud to have him join our family.

 

When Res found us, he was extremely malnourished with severe hoof issues. Over the past month, we have worked with a vet and farrier to bring him back to his old self. At 16.4 hand he is a gentle giant and has the heart of an angel. Our barn cat rescues have taken to him and they have become best friends.
