At Venus's Animal Rescue, we focus on providing a safe haven for farm animals in need. Venus's Animal Rescue was created as a non-profit in honor of Venus, our first rescue goat. Since 2021, we have rescued over a dozen goats, multiple donkeys, horses, ponies and cats to rehabilitate and provide a peaceful, loving home.

When we started this journey, the idea was to help out the local area where

we could, with both shelter and food.  Our growth has far exceeded what

we anticipated.  All of our rescue have been provided for out of our own

pockets, but the time has come for expansion and sustainability.

The recent tragedies from Hurricane Helena and Milton has shed light on

not only the need for evacuation planning of our four-legged friends, but

the need for a local service to help transport and shelter displaced animals

animals both before and after a tragedy. Our goal, and we know Venus

would approve, is to provide a service to rescue and rehabilitate neglected,

abused and displaced animals when faced with this tragedies.

We hope that many will find it in their hearts to assist with the needs of

these family members.  Our initial goal is to fund the purchase of a trailer

adequate to support the transport for both rescue and veterinary support. 

In honor of those donating, we would like to begin by adding the names

of our supporters to the sides of that trailer to recognize their heroism and support.
